Workshop "Automation in Road Transport" -
Automation will play an important role in realizing the societal challenges and policy objectives for mobility and Transport. Applications like platooning, temporary auto-pilot, hazards detection and intelligent lane assignment all highly depend on new emerging technologies and know-how in areas such as sensors, HMI, communication and user acceptance but also on new policies and regulations. The Working Group on Automation in Road Transport, founded under the iMobilityForum in 2012 has explored and investigated this topic over the past year and wants to share its progress and recommendations with the international transport community.

Therefore the Working Group on Automation in Road Transport and the International Cooperation Working Group of the iMobility Forum cordially invites all interested in this topic to join the 2013 Workshop to be held March 7th in Brussels.
